Habitación En España 1512 is a recently renovated guest house in the centre of Mendoza, 1 km from Paseo Alameda and 700 metres from Independencia Square. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.4 km from O'Higgings Park. The accommodation provides full-day security, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. I can't say enough good things about this place, or about the owner, Ariel. He's a great guy that really cares about his guests, and the accommodation is great value for money, and in an excellent location. Our bus from Chile to Mendoza was delayed by a day, and we arrived very late at night, but Ariel made sure it was easy for us to get into the room, and even said we didn't need to pay for the night we weren't there due to the delay (even though it wasn't his fault at all!).

We liked absolutely everything about our stay. I believe I have never given an accommodation such a high rating. The facilities are very beautiful, the garden is huge, the pool was cleaned every day, the rooms are large and comfortable. But the biggest highlight is certainly the staff. Ale and his team are very friendly and helpful people. We traveled with our 6 month-old baby and they helped us with everything: crib, helping us prepare the baby’s food (cooked according as our doctor recommended), they even picked him up so we could have breakfast. At the New Year’s party that he throws for his guests (and for an excellent price, by the way) we ate the best roast in all of Mendoza and drank great wines. Everyone had such a great time and we also, thanks to them.

You can visit Casa de Uco Winery, tour the vineyard and relax in the 320-hectare garden. A beautiful property with great attention to detail and staff. Everything is super clean and there are fun activities like a wine tasting and horseback riding and bikes to use. You never need to leave and the staff is amazing to help arrange for dinners and make recommendations. Highly recommend and much cheaper than the Vines / better value!

Guests at Club Tapiz can horseback ride, trek and canopy walk in the Andes. They can also white water raft in the Mendoza Rivers and relax afterwards with massage in the wellness spa or a dip in the pool. Wine caterings are offered daily. I stayed here with my 5yo son and absolutely loved it! The personnel was very welcoming and friendly, facilities including the pool and wine tasting in the evening were great. The maze is extended and really worth a visit and the whole place was just covered in a wonderful fragrance of the carefully placed and maintained fragrant roses, jasmine, lavender etc.

Guests enjoy a rich buffet breakfast at the casual restaurant with ample windows, as well as gourmet international and regional dishes. At the atmospheric Cava bar, an exclusive selection of local wines is available. This place makes you feel relaxed and at home the moment you enter the lobby. The staff is very polite and friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. We specially loved the benches with pillows to take a nap under the vines, and Aquiles, one of the property dogs. Food at the restaurant was great, the empanadas were the best.

The room was super comfortable and had fantastic facilities. Breakfast was delicious. Above all, the staff went far and beyond by helping us get to the bus station as I'd run out of cash.
