This is a beautifully designed hotel featuring very modernly furnished rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the great balcony that overlooked the lake. The indoor pool was a lovely amenity, although a touch cool for spring swimming. The outdoor jacuzzi, however, was excellent. Breakfast was a definite highlight, offering a wide and impressive variety of both cold and hot dishes, including some interesting special menu items. We also had a great dinner experience at the Saltz restaurant. A special mention must go to the concierge, who was incredibly helpful in securing tickets for the chocolate museum tour for us, even after we found it fully booked online.

Exclusively available for women, the spa area features a steam bath, a Finnish sauna, and a bio sauna. Loungers with large, heated cherry stone pillows are also available.

The upper floor features a relaxation room and a private roof terrace with views over the city, the lake, and the mountains. Please note that the use of the spa area is subject to additional charges. Specific prices can be obtained at the reception. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a lift, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The aparthotel features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Very clean and beautiful hotel, super friendly staff, good parking. There is a train trail right next to the hotel but fortunately only few train passed at night time and we still could get good sleep (weekend). Maybe train passes more often weekdays, then you should ask the staff about train passing times if its important for you
