We loved the private bathroom and the cute little pod. Yeah it’s small but there’s enough storage space for it to be ok. There are lots of lovely places to sit and chill out. The barman is especially great - super friendly and helpful and made excellent cocktails. The reception staff were so helpful and kind.

There is only one restaurant which I expected to be mediocre because of the lack of competition. Oh how wrong I was. All the food was gourmet and of exceptional quality, price wise it wasn’t cheap, but it was great value for what you get.

There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The accommodation is fairly basic, but had everything we needed. Loved the outside kitchen. The host, Monica, was very helpful and even arranged a dentist appointment for us when my wife broke a tooth. The great thing is the location, right on the edge of the national park and less than a 5 minute walk into Cahuita. We were lucky to see 15-20 howler monkeys in the garden as well as capuchin monkeys and an agouti. We actually saw more wildlife while chilling out at the property than we saw in the national park.
