The log cabin style rooms are really well layed out with great bathrooms with hot water and a cute little kitchen and fridge. They have high quality soaps and hair products. The balcony and hammock were an awesome place to hang out and watch the waves down below. They seem to have thought of all the little things like higher quality toilet paper and an umbrella to use and lots of window shades. The yoga studio is amazing and they run 4 classes a day so it’s easy to find one that fits your schedule with lots of different and awesome teachers. The cafe serves healthy and delicious food and has a great atmosphere with chill vibe overlooking the pacific! The on site owners and all the staff are amazing and friendly!

Other facilities offered at the property include a ticket service, a tour desk and luggage storage. Everything was absolutely dreamy. We chose Belmar to start our honeymoon off and we couldn’t have picked better. We loved our Peninsula Superior room with an amazing bathtub with a view. The food was glorious. We loved the “garden to plate” concept. We did a beer tasting at the brewery and it was great, too. My husband was so happy! The hotel staff was incredibly polite and helpful; they helped us book a wonderful excursion to the cloud forest with a picnic breakfast up in the canopy as well as a guided tour. Our guide, Daniel, was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humour. I also particularly loved the organic cosmetics provided for us (the vanilla, lavender and pepper shower gel was seriously to die for) as well as lots of amazing beverages from the room fridge including organic iced teas, kombucha and pale ale. There was no air con in the room which I loved as it tends to make me ill usually — the temperature at night was between 16-18 degrees and we slept with open windows, listening to the jungle sounds. Can you think of anything better?!
