The room was spacious and comfortable with cozy wooden interior and a split-level layout. There was an electric heating mat on the mattress so we never felt cold in our room during the winter time. Maintaining a property in the mountain area is never an easy task and the hotel staff has done a great job in providing a comfortable accommodation to their guests. The complimentary shuttle service to the city centre, although with time restriction, is convenient and reliable.

Very modern decor and finishes in room and incredibly helpful concierge service led by Mr Mukherjee who helped arrange/coordinate all of our transport (to/from airport and in town to Salt Lake for family wedding), best breakfast buffet/food options and most comfortable bed of all 5 hotels we stayed in India during this trip. Also loved the Newtown location as walkable to Spencer's in mall next door for bottled water/other random needs, ATM though 2 in area didn't work on 2nd time we needed them, and a great hand crafts fair/Mela that happened to be in town during our stay.

It is barely 50 metres from the central business district of Dalhousie Square. A beautiful hotel in the heart of Kolkata. The rooms were huge and very well appointed. The staff were warm and super friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful. Cannot recommend more.
