Pamela and Paolo were great hosts. The Villa is stunning. The amenities superb. It is close to the action in Syracuse (for me seeing the UNESCO sites) but far enough that you don't feel like you are in the city. There is an indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath right now. Outdoor pool almost ready for water to be added. Parking is free and onsite. Easy access to grocery stores too. The Villa has a full kitchen with a big fridge that guests can use as well as a small one in the room.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The absolute best here was Valeria. She was personable and always helpful. The location is super and very quiet. The breakfast room had a beautiful outdoor deck with snacks and cool drinks all day. Breakfast was among the best we had in our month long trip in Sicily. The pastries were incomparable. The room itself had everything and was actually better equipped than most rooms. Valeria connected with us before we arrived and organized our ZTL permit. We parked a block and a 1/2 away in a locked guarded lot that was super.

A hairdresser is also available. My son and I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. We loved the complementary massage - my son ADORED his chocolate massage! A big thank you to the reception team, spa staff, and room service for making our stay so enjoyable. The hotel's location amidst lemon and orange fields was beautiful, and we enjoyed easy access to Syracuse while still feeling like we were at a resort. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the outdoor pool later in the season

The extensive buffet breakfast includes salami, homemade cakes, fresh fruit and juice made from Sicilian oranges. The restaurant with terrace specialises in local dishes, such as pasta with fresh anchovies, pine nuts and raisins. Amazing staff. Fabrizio, Zaira and many others were super helpful at any demand. The owner/manager Giusi was always there helping out with hints and a constant eye for every detail. Breakfast is superb. I can defintely tell that the pictures at Booking.com do not demonstrate well enough how beautifully set is the property. The pool is huge and "resort-like" which is super-handy for the ferocious Sicilian summer heat, however it was never full of people. Just perfect. Spacious and clean rooms.

Set in a former nobleman’s residence 1 km from Arenella Beach and 7 km from the centre of Siracusa, Dimora Caiammari Luxury Hotel & Spa is an elegant 5-star hotel on the Plemmirio Peninsula. This property offers free bikes and botanical gardens with 2 outdoor pools. The Staff and owner were the most gracious and attentive to our needs as soon as we arrived. I true gem of a property . The only regret was that we could not stay longer. Upon our departure the Owner proudly presented us with his delicious olive oil. This lovely gem is the perfect destination for relaxation and serenity.

The Hotel reveals the perfect balance between tradition and modernity. Each space is different, but everywhere there is a sense of peace and luxury. Excellent breakfast. Great staff. Beautiful interior and phenomenal location of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay in Ortigia.
