Malindi is a hidden gem and in my opinion this hotel is by far the best in the area. Be sure to try the Hob restaurant which is close by.

Pucci house is a lovely, small guesthouse with pretty gardens and in a residential neighbourhood not far from shops and eateries. Alex was a very attentive host, gave me tips for the area and organised transportation back to the airport. I found Jua room really comfortable and furnished to a high spec, overlooking the communal gardens. A lot of care has gone into the design and furnishings of the guest house. Breakfast was simple and nicely prepared by a lovely woman in the property. Having both an overhead fan and AC was really great as the heat is quite something in Watamu! Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at AHG Lion Beach Resort. Staff was very helpful and food was amazing (especially sea food and grill). Location is great. Good thing is that they served a variety of food items and yet zero wastage. All staff members were so good - reception, animators, grill chef (one of the best squids I had), pasta chef, bartenders, aqua gym, helpers, hotel manager… everyone.

If you are looking for a piece of paradise… this is it - everything is PERFECT at Mnarani, hence I am a regular guest! The location, accommodation, attentiveness of the wonderful staff, delicious food with lots of choice! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay amazing and relaxing - it really is my favourite destination …. I can’t wait to return.
