Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. I stayed there for my first 2 nights and it was the best choice. Hotel just after the renovation, big and clean rooms. The hospitality of the owners is amazing. 5 min walk distance to the beach (no people only palm trees - like in paradise). You have to try food because it's a very good one. Good vibe of the place.

Great room with a nice balcony with river view, good airco, nice shower, good bed. Friendly owner who offers a free transport to the other side of the lake, where you have access to the beautiful Ventura beach. This beach is easily one of the best beaches we have seen in Sri Lanka: unspoiled, tranquil, very nice zand, cute waves... just incredible! Make sure you get there to enjoy this still widely unknown hidden gem.

Massages are available at Villa Saman. The hotel also provides a sauna and a hot tub. Other facilities include a book and CD library. My partner and I stayed for 6 nights and it couldn’t have been any better. The service was exceptional - Dulara, our personal assistant was there at any moment for any request but what made him so good was his ability to work around our days and initiative to understand what we wanted before we even asked. Hope his management understands how good he is as an employee and highly recommend any guest to ask for him when staying there in the future. The rooms were spacious and so close to the beach with amazing views of the coastline. The infinity pool was exceptional positioned right on the cliff overlooking the ocean. The main thing I can’t get over was the food, it was incredible. Every dish, breakfast or dinner was next level, extremely fresh and amazingly tasteful. I can’t wait to come back - Sri Lanka is amazing but this place is special

The Villa Bentota by KK Collection is a beach side boutique hotel featuring individually designed rooms and suites. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it offers 2 outdoor pools and free WiFi in the rooms. Wonderful rooms and very professional staff. Nice touches such as milk and not creamer. First place we stayed with a bathtub too. Lots of hidden areas to explore.

Newly built building, it has convenient layout, and location is great - surrounded by greenery, very peaceful and quiet, but only a short walk to beach. Manager Mr. Hector is very nice and welcoming person. Also breakfasts were very good. Due to low season we were the only guests, so staying here was especially calm and relaxing.
