Carefully managed piece of heaven on the edge between ocean and jungle with european comfort and fantastic cuisine! Fantastic beach where you can swim. You can see peacocks, monkeys, varans, mongoose, buffalo, fireflies around the resort. Spacious and extra clean rooms. Well maintained pool. Owners are great people and experienced travelers, they know how to make your stay calm and comfortable. Strongly recommended! All our big family hope to come back there next year!

So happy I booked here. The room was stunning spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a real treat with a huge shower and hot water and so clean! Complimentary robes and slippers, a safe and fridge in the room, luxurious pillows and furnishings made you feel like you were staying in a 5* resort. The view from the room over the lagoon was so serene and idyllic. The pool was gorgeous to sit by during the day. The staff were incredible, so friendly and caring, from welcome drinks and conversation to being brought a coconut by the pool whilst relaxing. Room service is available with a nice selection of wines of offer. The food was lovely in their restaurant and again tip top customer service and all with a smile. You can tell the people that run this have a real passion for it and they do a brilliant job! When I come back to Sri Lanka I will 100% stay here again! Thank you again to the hosts!

We swam in a kayak belonging to the facility and had the opportunity to observe many species of birds, including eagles. Moreover, while sitting for breakfast, you can admire several species of colorful birds flying between the trees. Fantastic! Extremely spacious and clean room. Food also very good. Extremely nice and helpful gentleman. He arranged for us to pick up a tuk tuk at the hotel. We recommend this place!

The Alpha Monkey hotel & Tree house offers a spa centre. This place is run by a very kind local family and the location is excellent just in front of Tangalle beach.with a very good walk on both sides of the property. The food is very yummy. We tried grilled chicken and tuna. Also, we had a full breakfast here including bread, butter, jam, fruits, omellete. One of the best part of the property is the SWIMMING POOL, we enjoyed it a lot to cool down. Thank you and we wish you all the best.
