Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which serves Chinese cuisine and also offers vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options. The guesthouse is close by the lake and by foot 10 min to the main road to have some food. The safari as really nice as well, but there is no extra guide if you prefer so. The driver was the guide. We booked the tour through the guesthouse. The room was perfect for a quick stay and the family was really nice and helped with everything. We also just got a juice after our safari from the host.

This luxury tented camp is situated where the jungle meets a pristine beach, overlooking the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Everything was perfect! The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. The food was delicious, the drinks were well balanced and tasty! The design of the tents is absolutely beautiful! Our ranger, Buddi and driver, Laky were so knowledgeable and great. Shashika our cutest co-ordinator was lively and surprised us with an anniversary dinner at the beach.

Free WiFi access is available in this self-catering accommodation. The venue is beautiful, very special place with lots of trees and in a peaceful zone of the city. The owner is very friendly & knowledgeable about safari trails & organized for me an amazing safari experience for a great price. Lunch was one of the best I had in my trip to Sri Lanka. Highly recommended.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Our stay was nice. The room was very clean and spacious. The shower worked perfectly with cold and hot water. And the terrace views were super nice. The area was quiet and surrounded by nature. I recommend this place!

The resort is amazing, with clean and spotless rooms that are spacious and comfortable – plenty of room to relax. One of the highlights of our trip was a lovely beach BBQ that was very special to us. It created such a warm and unforgettable memory.A special mention to Shehan, who truly made our stay memorable. He’s a fantastic chef, skilled therapist, and an excellent guide. Thanks to him, we had the chance to see a leopard and a bear – such a thrilling experience.I highly recommend Kingfisher Beach Resort to everyone. Thank you, Shehan, for your hospitality. Set in Tissamaharama, 3.4 km from Tissa Wewa, Coconut Island Yala offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. With free WiFi, this 1-star hotel offers room service and luggage storage space. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Good size room and bathroom, does everything you need for a short stay to visit yala. Great view of the rice field, very peaceful. Host is such a lovely person, good to chat to and cooked us vegan dinner as we requested - it was extremely tasty, super generous portions and had great variety!!

Located in the deep south of Sri Lanka, Chena Huts is just 5-minute away from Yala National Park. Featuring free WiFi, a spa centre and an outdoor pool, Chena Huts offers fine views of the wilderness and seascape. It is designed to echo the local architecture harmonizing with the jungle environment. We loved everything about the Uga Chena Huts. The location is amazing with an elephant, monkeys and a range of other animals being seen around the property. The food was the best we have had - wonderful chef who changes the menu daily. The staff were exceptional, from our safari guide to the wait staff and room staff. They made our stay!

Guest rooms at the hotel are fitted with a seating area. The private bathroom is equipped with a bidet, free luxury toiletries and a hair dryer. The units have a desk. All rooms have direct views of the lake. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were on hand to provide suggestions on local tours without being pushy. They also went out of their way to make us egg hoppers one day which we were really grateful for. The villa is new and really well furnished with super comfy beds and pillows.
