From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, personal, and deeply attentive. 🥐 Breakfast & Dining Experience The breakfast buffet was a standout — beautifully presented, with a wide variety of fresh options to suit every taste. They even provided avocado as per request. Whether you’re into tropical fruits, pastries or hearty hot dishes, there’s something for everyone. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to help, and keeping everything spotless. 🛏️ Accommodation We stayed in an overwater villa, and it was absolutely stunning. The villa was spacious, modern, and immaculately maintained. We especially appreciated the twice-a-day cleaning service — our room always felt fresh and cared for. 👨‍🍳 Service & Staff The service was truly world-class. Every staff member went above and beyond, but we want to give a special mention to: • All the waiters were extremely polite and nice, like Amir – incredibly professional, warm, and attentive • Ashraf – always smiling and made every meal feel special, offered his help many times and offered extra service. They made us feel welcome and remembered the little details, which added such a personal touch. 🤿 Diving Club – A Highlight of the Trip The on-site diving club was phenomenal. We joined the whale shark hunt, and it was an unforgettable experience. Huge thanks to: • Shiyaan – knowledgeable, patient, and deeply passionate about marine life • Jerry – fun, experienced, and made us feel completely safe in the water, even helped me not to sink as it was very difficult to swim while you are pregnant and trying to follow whale shark Their team was professional yet approachable — whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver, you’ll be in excellent hands.

The property was close to the beach and the rooms were clean. The two girls working there clean up the rooms every day. The breakfast was good, we also eat dinner one night there, we ordered fish(it was huge) and was really tasty and it was only 10$/person. Also the host was really nice and helpful. I would 1000000% recommend this property.

Starting from the island itself, the reefs around, and ending with the people working there. From the first time we set foot on the island, we were looked after wonderfully. Starting from the person cleaning our room, through the employees of the bar, reception or water attractions, and ending with the service of the restaurant - the people working there are a real treasure. We were traveling with a small child, which can cause problems, but the staff was helpful to us all the time. The front desk staff guaranteed us to extend our stay on the island until late afternoon due to a late flight from Male, co What is very important, the food is of a high standard, the chefs try to make it varied and tasty, and they do it wonderfully. The reefs around are teeming with fish, snorkeling is free, and the staff in charge of it turns a daily trip into a unique experience. The rooms were clean, cleaned every day, and the water changed on a regular basis. We definitely recommend this place to rest and thank you for a great time! He cannot imagine that I could spend this time better during my stay in the Maldives.

Continental and buffet breakfast options are available each morning at Veligandu Maldives Resort Island. This was our second time visiting Veligandu, and it still exceeded all of our expectations!! The resort is relaxing, quiet, and luxurious!! We love walking through the lush garden pathways leading to the restaurant . The house reef has a huge variety of reef fish as well as turtles, reef sharks, and rays. Snorkelling was very relaxing! We stayed in the sunrise water Villa this time and this suits us best as we could then sit on the back deck over the water in the shade in the afternoon. The sunrises were beautiful! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you to our host Shaalee for looking after us so well and accommodating all of our requests. Dhonveli Restaurant has a fantastic buffet selection catering for dietary needs and various cuisine. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Thank you to chef Suresh for cooking me the perfect eggs every morning! A special thank you to Shayan who was very thoughtful, attentive, and always making sure we were comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Cottage, the room was nice with a fun open air shower, the owner and staff were beyond kind and helped make it a great experience for my 80 year old Mother who travelled with me.
