Rooms are great, Spa is out of this world. 2 pools, one by the sea and one in the middle of the jungle at the spa. Amazing. The sunrises are incredible, the sun comes up, surfers catching the first waves … what a sight.

The guest house also offers outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. We visited Panama for the second time, and once again, we absolutely loved it. While looking for a beautiful place to stay, we came across this little hidden gem 💍– and what a find it was! Arrival & Welcome We were picked up by a private boat and warmly welcomed. The boat ride took around 45 minutes and was truly enjoyable. Along the way, we received interesting information about the surrounding islands – and even spotted dolphins! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail before our first meal. Such a lovely touch!☀️😍 Room The room was spacious and very comfortable. We’ve seen a lot of bathrooms throughout Panama, and many of them lack a proper shower. But here – the shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and lovely hot water – such a treat. :) Breakfast Breakfast was amazing. The host really listened to our preferences, and I was thrilled to have my fried egg every morning – along with fresh fruit and avocado. A perfect start to the day! Lunch Lunch was absolutely delicious – we had shrimp with coconut rice and plantains. A real taste of local cuisine that felt authentic and lovingly prepared. Dinner The highlight of our meals was definitely pizza night on our last evening! It was such a fun, communal experience with homemade pizza in creative and tasty varieties. So cool – and honestly, unforgettable. Surroundings The water around the property was crystal clear – it felt like swimming in a private aquarium. We saw a small shark, a stingray, colorful fish, and more – all right in front of our room. I’m usually a bit hesitant in the water, but here, I felt completely safe and at ease. The trees, the light, the tranquility – I can’t even describe how beautiful it was. Truly one of my personal highlights – such peace and connection with nature. Activities The hosts’ children were incredibly kind and welcoming.

Situated in Bocas del Toro, 200 metres from Carenero Beach, Roam Yoga & Wellness Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. I absolutely loved the spacious bungalow with lots of windows and the big porch, all surrounded by nothing but tropical garden. The houses are far enough from each other so that each one has its privacy. I enjoyed Meghan’s yoga class a lot, the yoga studio in the treetops with ocean view is amazing and I was allowed to use it for my own practice, too. Breakfast and dinner at the beautifully located restaurant was very good, each day different and I liked that it was mainly made with ingredients from the garden. I had a bit of bad luck with the weather but it looked like the reef in front of the property is worth checking out with snorkeling gear which is provided by the hotel as well as kayaks and SUP boards. I thought it was easy to get anywhere by watertaxi and Meghan and Ryan were always happy to help with anything.

The breakfast offers continental, American or vegetarian options. At Nayara Bocas del Toro you will find a restaurant serving American and Seafood cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Food, service and staff were perfect. Setting is beautiful and peaceful.

All units come with a terrace with garden views, a kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower. Maxxi and Jane were such great hosts. Jungle Paunch is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely come back to this place. It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.

A buffet, American or vegetarian breakfast is available at the property. Absolutely gorgeous location. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and relaxing. The small resort size contributed to friendly conversation amongst the international clientele. Staff was great and attentive to every need.
