Incredible and kind hosts, Maxi took us to the beach to show us the best places to surf and how to safely get in and out. It is a wonderful casita lodge in the middle of the jungle but 5 minutes from everywhere you need. Maxi and Jane even lent us bicycles to ride around - looking forward to staying here again

(UV Filtered drinking water) Property is located 9.6 km from the center of Isla Colon. We had an amazing family holiday at Bluff Beach Retreat! Augusto and Anita and all staff are doing an excellent job to care for their guests. We felt very welcome, received many helpful recommendations and enjoyed the extremely delicious breakfast. Our room was clean at all times and very spacious for us three. There are only very few mosquitos, we felt safe and the beach right at across the road (which was not busy) was beautiful. Unlike some other hotels around here, ours was always quiet with only nature sounds to hear which we enjoyed. No music all day long, no queuing at the pool and the other guests were very friendly and nice to talk to. Make sure to do some grocery shopping before coming to the hotel as there are no shops around. We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back one day to this paradise place.

Lots of wildlife around look at staff was great.

Views of the garden and the ocean can be seen from the rooms at Playa Bluff Lodges. The ensuite bathroom comes with a shower. Extras include a safety deposit box, bed linen and a fan. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by nature. There are monkeys, agoutis and many birds. The beach is clear and deserted, a paradise to relax! The property is huge and there is even a waterfall that you can visit on a 1-hour walk, but I didn't manage to do the tour because I didn't have time enough. The room is comfortable, clean and airy. The staff was very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend the stay!
