The room was a good size with a big, comfy bed and the shower was so powerful. AC was very welcoming after a long day outside in the heat and the humidity. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The food was nice and a 10pm free snack was offered to all. Good location near Beijing railway station, to walk to the train or metro, which had to be done to visit most places. Close to the police station. Lovely courtyard that allowed people to sit outside, eat and converse. Free laundry service was available. Lots of information available about Edgar Snow and his wife including a book in all rooms.

This is my second time in this hotel. The room was good and spacious. They were bringing a bottle of water everyday and the facilities were good. The breakfast was good. The area is quite and it is 5/10min to the tube station.

The location is very good. It’s close to subway “Xisi” and John is a very good host. He is so kind and always try’s to help! He really takes care about his guests and is doing he job with a lot of passion. The Hutong gives you a first good impression about traditional way of living.
