Beautiful hotel rich of character just in the centre of Tamarindo. Staff super nice and available to accomodate every request. Rooms are very well decored in ethnic sytle and they are very comfortable. Breakfast super super good! Just the perfect place where to stay while in Tamarindo!

Hotel Gardenia is a boutique hotel with 5 vila-style rooms. We stayed in room number 2, which I highly recommend, as it is detached from the other rooms, so it's like having a little airbnb to yourself. This is also the case with room number 1. The room is spacious and clean. It is equipped with a small kitchen (hobb, microwave, sink and full sized fridge freezer). The living room has a tv with youtube and other apps. It also has a dining table. The bathroom was nice and clean, with space to hang towels, which is always appreciated. The bedroom is modern, equipped with AC and a spacious wardrobe area and plenty of hangers. The swimming pool is of good size and the night lights look beautiful on. Located within 10 minutes from Tamarindo centre and 3 minutes away from the Saturday Market and the Tamarindo Night Market, but away from the loudness of the crowds. Location 10/10!

I had a great stay there for one night. Receptionists were super nice. It felt like a community with all the guests :)) It has everything you need and it's close to the beach. I would stay there again.

The managers, Sebastian and Sarah, were both very helpful and available. They speak four languages between them so communication was easy. The room was super clean and comfortable with a choice of A/C or a fan available. Kitchen was fully stocked with whatever you need to cook with and there was lovely coffee available in the morning when most needed. The location was perfect and quiet. It is a short walk to the beach, right next to a grocery store, great bakery (on the other side of the park), and 50 ft to restaurants. Highly recommend.

So much to like about this property. Great in town location but not noisy. Jungle-like around the pool, could have hung at the pool all day and night. Responsive staff.
