Everything was good. Clean, nice hotel. The room has a little fridge and a good shower. A few shops nearby. A good place to spend the night when you are doing the Malerweg trek.

The apartman is big and comfortable equiped with everything you need. It was very clean. You have to go up a few stairs to the apartman what wasn't a problem for us but if someone has difficulties climbing up stairs shoud be aware of it. The private parking is very safe. We stayed there only one night but next time when we are in the area we will stay there again.

I reserved - twice - this room for my parents and specifically for my dad as he's in a wheelchair. They were using the room only one night each as they were traveling. The room was perfectly equipped for people with wheelchairs. Very grateful that my parents were able to use this.

The accommodation was excellent. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, even including salt and pepper (which is not always the case). There is also a coffee machine with enough capsules to last throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place—it’s conveniently located close to both the city center and the train station.

Hotel Devítka is set in Janov, 43 km from Dresden. There is a restaurant at the property and free private parking is available on site.

We wanted to explore Bohemian/Saxonian Switzerland (Elbsandsteingebirge). Originally we intended to stay at Bad Schandau but found Hotel Devitka in only 13 km distance, close to the border. While there is a lot going on directly at the Elbe/Labe, Janov lies extremely calm on a plateau where you can see for miles and really relax. It’s a great place to explore the area, if you get there by car or are prepared to climb for 3 km by bike at the end of your ride. Hotel Devitka belongs to the golf course „Golf Janov“, so it‘s really at the end of the small village. The rooms are quite new, spacious and well equipped. There is a nice breakfast buffet and it’s possible to have dinner, basically Czech cuisine with little daily changes. Since the hotel is run by a small but very friendly staff there is little service possible during the day - dinner time starts at 6 pm. We enjoyed the food, beer and selection of wine very much. We stayed for 5 nights and would return any time.
