Spacious warm room with a sea view. Very clean. Lovely friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Pleasant lounge with sea outlook. Our train to Glasgow was cancelled and we had to stay on until another one left late in the day. At no charge they held our bags and let us use their lounge facilities for the day which we greatly appreciated.

Set in a small hamlet with only 10 permanent residents, by the end of the week we felt part of their community. The sea is just across the road and we saw otters in the adjacent bay a couple of times.
