Three-Star Hotels in Hachimantai

I wish that I had discovered this place sooner. My husband is a passholder at the nearby Appi Ski Resort so I booked the family room to work out of while he enjoyed the powder. We were impressed with the Cyprus bath in the room, but it had nothing on the outdoor rock bath. The outdoor baths are both accessible to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis (you can lounge in the lobby and wait for one to open up). The building itself looks like an old lodge and has a beautiful staircase in the lobby. The staff were all very helpful, and there were at least two who spoke great English during our stay. We also booked breakfast and dinner, which I'd say are a must. The hotel advised us that there are no food options nearby. We luckily had a car, but if you don't, definitely be mindful of this.

Remote not too busy location, well maintained facilities for skiing, food for every taste; skiing, sledding & tubing right from front door, access roads kept clean, plentiful parking, spectacular views from every room.
