Hotel is rather new so the room and facilities are pretty good. Room is spacious for Japanese standard. Location is great as it's 5 mins walk from tram stop and right next to major shopping strip.

The breakfast did not come with my package and cost ¥1100, but it was a well-prepared buffet-style meal with a lot of variety. Also, the location of the hotel was within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle and there is a 7-11 on the 1st floor.

A small but cozy hotel in the immediate vicinity of Kumamoto Castle. We had a room with a view of the castle. Check-in and check-out are perfect, the breakfast is simple but nothing to complain about, the location is perfect. And there is also a great rooftop area, you can grab a coffee or beer and admire the view. There are no complaints about the condition of the rooms and the work of the staff - everything is at the highest level. For a three-star hotel, this is simply an excellent choice.
