My recent stay at The Tea Bungalow in Norwood, Hatton, Sri Lanka, was an experience I'll cherish forever. Despite the rest of the staff being on public holidays, they managed to provide us with an array of delicious meals that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Their skill and dedication were evident in every dish they served. But what truly makes The Tea Bungalow a magical place is its location in Norwood. The natural beauty and serene atmosphere of this area are unparalleled. It's a place where one can truly relax and reconnect with nature. The landscapes, the calmness, and the overall ambiance of Norwood are what makes it the best place I've visited in Ceylon so far. Great location for the walk up Adams Peak. The staff were very helpful with a good local place to eat and timings on when to start walking. Also great breakfast in the morning and they allowed for a slightly later check out which wasn’t needed but good to know.

The place is the closest to the train station and atm which makes life much easier as the town is full of hills, the room was good any complaint, the only thing missing was WiFi, the host was the best one I ever had so far he helped us with the payment, recommended us places and cooked us delicious Sri Lankan food. Recommended 100%

Brand new !! 11 nights in Sri Lanka and this was the best in terms of cleanliness. But first of all an amazing location . Lovely village situated 2100 meters above see level. Great area for hiking.Fresh and chilly at night. Nice breakfast. Friendly management. I found Nuwara Eliya far more charming than Eliya.
