I have stayed at the Argyle of the Park every time I have come to NZ since 2002 under two different owners. Lena and Peter have made a number of very pleasant changes, but have continued the tradition of superb customer service. They are both a delight and are always very helpful and accommodating to get me the room I prefer. Always very clean. The location is perfect for me, near the bus stop for when I don't have a car, near the park, near the train station. Wash machine and drying area outside available. Very willing to let me check in early, especially when I arrive the first day after a 36 hour trip from the US.

Breakfast served in a nice atmosphere with friendly hosts, who even offered freshly picked raspberries from their garden. Very quiete and peaceful place with a wonderful little backyard. Good Coffee in the self service kitchen. On our last day, we left early and got a great picknick bag. Thank you very much!
