The best part of this hotel is of course, the fact that it also is a bookstore and cafe, which is open 24 hours for guests. As book lovers, this was the perfect oasis and was also extremely well located. A book lovers dream!

The location couldn't have been better! Located close to Osu Shopping Street, with many eateries nearby. Plus, the Osu Kannon Station on the metro subway was just a 10-minute walk away, making travel around Nagoya super easy. There’s even a minimart near the station, which was perfect for grabbing quick snacks and essentials. Additionally, we loved the cute board on the wall in the room that provided information about interesting places nearby, including shops, restaurants, and other attractions. It was such a thoughtful touch and helped us discover some hidden gems in the area! What truly elevated our experience was the staff. They were incredibly polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was providing local recommendations or addressing our questions. Visiting as part of a three week tour for our honeymoon, we stayed in 9 hotels, and some swanky ones costing almost 10x this per night. Somehow I remember this over most of them. Value for money, this was the best out of them all. Service was amazing (obviously, it's Japan). The reception, halls and rooms were mostly made out of wood and with the lighting low and moody, it was a very chilled and relaxing place to be. The bed was gigantic, and the amenities in the room just what you need - really good shower with good shampoo and gel, mirrors, water, tea & coffee with a kettle, pj's etc. In addition, there's a communal area on the ground floor with a fridge containing frozen fresh soups (didn't try), and a microwave, kettle, and all of the utensils for dinner in a kitchen area nearby. It's on a main-ish road but we couldn't hear any noise at all in case you have concerns. There's no restaraunt here but they offer bento boxes for breakfast. I'd highly recommend the Benkei restaraunt over the road for some extremely nice Ramen!
