The receptionists were the sweetest, we felt really welcome. The staff was really attentive and cared about us, going out of their way to make our stay great. The room was as described, the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the evening and morning swim at the pool, it was something magical! Our heartfelt compliments to the chef - we absolutely LOVED the food! In the morning, the cook prepared the breakfast from the coconut he harvested from the hotel's garden that same morning! The location is a bit remote, but also very calm and quiet. Walking around we could peek into the lives of common Sri Lankans. All in all, a great stay, recommended!

The rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a pool to freshen up and the breakfast is very nice, served in the pool-patio area. The staff is really nice and helpful too, I had to send some things over there and there was no problem - thanks a lot!! Also, they have a super nice restaurant in the town: Centella Bistro, so you should check that out too!!

She was up waiting for us till 3am to ensure we got to the hotel all good. She arranged an airport pickup at the very last minute, and kept in touch till we got the taxi. She also gavel us very essential and useful tips on anything we asked. Had it not been for her, we might not be having this wonderful experience in this beautiful country. Please stay a night here, ask about all the ins and outs from a local and have a fantastic experience; meet the locals from day one and not people who are going to ruin your experience.

The Gomez is just 750 metres from Negombo Railway Station and 900 metres from Negombo Bus Stand. Bandaranaike International Airport is a 20-minute drive away. Gomez place was amazing and the staff and owner (Gomez) were super helpful. Before our arrival I got in touch to ask if they could arrange the Sri Lanka drivers liscence for me and they had it all arranged for our arrival.

The location in Negombo is ideal—peaceful but still close to everything. What impressed me most was the genuine hospitality; everyone went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I truly enjoyed my time here and would love to come back again. 💙
