Mainly, I loved the serenity and the solitude of the location. The property was finished to a very high standard, including decoration and comfort and the underfloor heating. Swimming in the sea each morning, and then returning to this toasty cabin was pure heaven. A rare find!

This was a great and affordable find. Location couldn't have been better for exploring the west side of the Faroes and I liked having the independence to come and go in a mini-cabin with all my needs met. The pictures matched what I had in person and the place was incredibly clean. The host was kind and easy to communicate with ahead of time. Parking was easy and right in front of the house.

Location was excellent although there was quite a lot of traffic for a quiet town passing the window possibly because of proximity to port. We picked here because of short distance to Mykinnes. House was old but quaint and very comfortable.

The Múlafossur Cottages were spectacular and such a fantastic way to enjoy the Faroe Islands. Each cottage has been masterfully crafted and has everything you need for your stay. It’s really spacious and warm and makes for a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. I couldn’t recommend this enough and I’d urge future visitors to book this property over staying in the main city. Gàsadalur is a gorgeous village with so many beautiful spots and close to the airport. Don’t hesitate and book now, you won’t regret it!

The comfort of the bed, the views from the first floor overlooking the water, the fireplace, well stocked kitchen amenities, the TV with Netflix, Disney, etc. The wood tub was wonderful and the waterfall shower had great water pressure. The grocery store and petrol station were a very short drive or nice walk from the property. The property is ideally located for excursions to some of the most beautiful landscapes and sea tours—so quiet, peaceful and exciting. I can’t recommend highly enough!

Excellent accommodation where we spent the first four days of our stay in the Faroe Islands. Very good location, close to places to visit on the island of Vagar and also close to the airport. The house is perfectly equipped, even better than described in the booking (the kitchen has been renovated and has a dishwasher, for example). We would definitely do it again.
