We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Switzerland the host Hugo was always quick to respond to any questions and was very accommodating. The home was beautiful we could not fault it. This was a perfect start to our trip. The key lock box for us was a huge bonus as we were arriving in the middle of the night we had no pressure as to when we had to be at the home and having the key lock box meant we could arrive whenever we wanted without disturbing Hugo. This home and host were amazing and we would highly recommend. Thank you again for letting us stay.

What a wonderful find. Alain and his wife were excellent hosts and a great help recommending the best sites to visit during my short 2 day stay. I was made feel very welcome and told to not be afraid to ask for anything l needed. The facilities were perfect for someone like me that was travelling alone Everything was available beside my room. l was able to prepare my own food, and had the use of a cooker/stove, microwave, fridge and utensils. Spacious accommodation in the centre of a quiet village. Plenty of space for dining and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, the bathroom has a bath tub and good shower. There's space outside in a garden/terrace, although the weather wasn't good enough for us to use it this time. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was immaculate, was very tastefully decorated and very individual rooms which all seemed to go together, the kitchen and living room are both very well equipped and excellent social spaces , the beds are very comfortable and large there is even a gas BBQ, you are a 5 min walk from the town centre and some great bars and restaurants that the owner recommends… I would definitely stay here again .

Situated in Verdun in the Lorraine region, with The Citadel High and Mondial Center for Peace nearby, Chez Mongauld features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Great location in a lovely quiet part of town, close to the centre. Very spacious, with everything we needed for a one night stay, comfy beds. Easy parking on the street directly outside (with a large free parking just at the top of the road if need be).
