It is a beautiful place with nicely arranged details. Very quiet and comfortable. There is also plenty of space to park your car. Patrick is the most friendly guy and very helpful. The sleeping rooms are very large and offer at least 4 adults enough space to stay overnight. Additionally, there is a sleeping sofa in the living room (if more beds are needed). The place is a bit remote, and it will take you some 15 mins by car to get to the next grocery store. Some people will surely consider this an advantage, but I mention it here, just in case this isn't for you. All in all, it was a great pleasure to stay at Chez Miquelot, and it is easy to recommend it even for longer periods.

The lace is beautiful, very relaxing, a perfect leisurely stay in rural France. We love the cottage, it was very practical, comfortable and beautifully decorated with a great attention to details. It had absolutely everything you could need during your stay, we felt like at home and very relaxed. The owners are very friendly and helpful, we had amazing time thanks to them. The local villages and countryside is beautiful too, there’s plenty to see and do on holidays.

We were greeted personally by the host Alicija. Shown around the beautiful Gite. She offered us dinner and breakfasts which we accepted. The food was wonderful, and plentiful! Very reasonably priced. We travelled with our dog and had tried to arrange daycare for her while we attended a wedding. Alicija offered to look after her for us for small cost. Both Alicija and Michael were wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough for us.

Le Pigeonnier is a beautiful gites for everyone who likes peace and quiet and luxury. The kitchen is fully stocked and it was lovely to have a bottle of wine, tea, coffee and milk when we arrived. Jonathan is a super host. We really appreciated that he brought us baguette and croissant on the first morning for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the shower super. Jonathan not only met us personally but was also very responsive when we had any questions. I can highly recommend Le Pigeonnier if you want to visit the Cognac region.
