Fountain Lodge is extreme perfection. Two bedrooms with bathrooms, fitted full kitchen, perfectly decorated and having fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer. The owners are fantastic, cooperative and very friendly. Close to the Forest of Dean in a picturesque background, running water stream. Wow we loved the stay.

Everything! The place was very clean and it was prepared so nice for our stay. Lovely Christmas decorations around and inside the hut. We stayed with our dog, and there was everything that he could need prepared: bowls, towel and even some treats! We were unlucky with the weather but even then the owners helped us as much they could! Definitely looking forward to visit this place again but in the better weather!

House and location amazing. Perfect for a group of 10 friends, we like to cook , eat and socialise together and kitchen facilities were great. Plenty of room (and bathroom facilities) for everyone. 2 great pubs in close vicinity for a swift half before tea!

What a wonderful place to stay! The specification of the barn was great, beds were comfortable, it was quiet and despite being on the owners property felt pretty private. Loved our stay. Added bonus was getting to meet their little puppy. Everything was clean on arrival and we couldn't have had a better new year's at the golden valley barn! We'd happily stay there again.
