    Wouldn't suit everyone but we loved all the animals on the working farm/livery. The cottage was comfortable and warm (heating was on a timer). Nice courtyard which was a great sun trap. Handy for walking into the village. Will book again.

    Barn Owl cottage is beautiful. It had been decorated for Christmas which we loved and it had been heated up so it was really cosy. The location is excellent and is just a short walk into the village of Cromford. The views are stunning and we loved being on a farm. We were able to take our dog who loved it too!

    Overall it was quite spacious. Very nice bedroom and ‘parents retreat’ on the second floor. Well equipped kitchen. Good location from which to explore the local area.

    The property was very clean and homely. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need for everyday essentials for a short stay. Complimentary wine and chocs were left which was a really sweet. Folder with all instructions/ manuals were left and information of the local area/ places to visit. The property is in a central location to all the sites to visit in a lovely village.
