We spent a wonderful holiday in a small, traditional fishing village in the Pelion area — a peaceful and authentic place that truly won our hearts. We are a family with two teenage children, and this was the perfect place for all of us to relax and disconnect. The house we stayed in exceeded all expectations: it was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with high-quality finishes, and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, including basic food items, and there was generous storage space. We also enjoyed a lovely garden for relaxing, as well as access to a small vegetable garden offered by the hosts. The beach is just a short walk away — small and quiet, with crystal-clear water and a gentle, shallow entrance, making it ideal for families. The nearby seaside tavernas served amazing food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. What truly made this experience unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts. They welcomed us with such kindness that we felt like we were visiting old friends. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, natural beauty, and a genuine Greek experience. We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The location is perfect — peaceful and ideally situated for exploring the area. The house is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. We were greeted with thoughtful welcome treats like homemade olives, cookies, tsipouro, and coffee, which made us feel right at home. Everything was spotless, and the house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need — from food (breakfast -lunch) essentials and toiletries to a wide variety of games for the kids, including board games and art supplies. The hostess was incredibly kind, helpful, and always available for anything we needed. The quality of everything — from the furnishings to the hospitality — was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our holidays. Highly recommended!

We very much appreciated the hospitable welcome, the owner's willingness to assist us, as well as their discretion. The accommodation is spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable with a large shaded terrace. The garden and environment are spacious, which was appreciated by our dog. We loved everything about our stay at the Mitzela Mare House. The village is very charming and beautiful, the people are really kind, the hosts were very hospitable and willing to help with everything you need. They were very responsive and even left us welcome gifts which were typical for Amaliopoli. 😊The house is very cosy, clean and beautiful, and they have paid great attention to detail to everything- the furniture, the kitchen dinnerware, the accessories. The location is very good as the house is located right in the center of the village and on 5 minutes walk distance there are two shops and restaurants (the food in both restaurants is great), the beach is also on 5 minutes walk distance and there are two beach bars which provide sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. The hosts also provide sun-beds which can be used on the sea alley right across the house. If you are looking for a restful holiday in a cosy, quiet place in a scenic, charming Greek village, Amaliopoli is your village and Mitzela Mare is the perfect house for you!
