Absolutely immaculate accommodation with lots of space and very friendly and helpful management. Well over and beyond the call of duty I'd say. Arrived late but it was no problem. Left to our own devices on the whole with advice on trips when needed. EXCELLENT.

Chris and Steph were amazing hosts! They left bread, homemade scones & jelly, and honey from their hives for us in the kitchen, and there was a small homemade soap for each guest. The cottage was comfortable, with great beds and lots of hot water, and had everything we needed for cooking our own meals there. Chris showed us around the farm on our last morning while he fed the animals, and we bought a few soaps from Steph before we left. They're delightful people who clearly love sharing their farm with others. There was a big storm one of the days we were there and we were cozy and happy spending time in the house, which is stocked with board games. The location was great for exploring the Beara Peninsula, which is stunning. We visited with friends who were visiting from America and we had plenty of space— this would be a great stay for families or groups of friends. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

We really loved our stay in Castletownbere. The house is in the perfect location, only a short walk to nearby restaurants, shops and pubs. It provided a great base for touring local areas such Allihies, Bere Island and Eyeries. The surroundings are stunning and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax. The house is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in West Cork.
