The cabin‘s position is very secluded, and lies in the countryside in the Borgarnes region. It is well equipped and there are lots of things to see and to do in the area around; it is also a perfect stop after arrival and before traveling north or westwards. The private hot tub is a huge plus, it is easy to handle and comes with a perfect views of the night sky - and northern lights if it’s the right time of year! Due to extreme cold one water pipe froze during my stay - and the hosts directly reacted and solved the issue - wonderful friendly service, thanks again!

Fantastic house! Lovely view down to the distant steaming river. Fabulous hot tub outside. Very comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. Very cozy, family house. It has everything you need, a bonus hot tub. The greenhouse has very tasty cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, many thanks to the hosts for the treat. It is necessary to note the kind dog that came to visit us. Being in the house there was a feeling of comfort and pleasure.

We spent 3 wonderful days at the cottage in October. As the weather slowed us down a bit, we were able to enjoy our time in the really cosy house and relax a bit. The house is very spacious and is tastefully decorated. Everything you need was there. We didn't want for anything. The owners are very accommodating and warm. We will be very happy to come back!
