Kei’s place is his family’s traditional Japanese home, and we were blessed to be able to stay there. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood but you can reach all main streets by train as the stops are all located nearby. The wooden architecture of the house and the surrounding garden give it such a dreamy appearance, a fireplace, traditional futon bed and perfectly equipped kitchen for tea and coffee invite the guests to unwind and enjoy the peace. On top of this, Kei himself is as impressive as his grandparent’s place. Not only he welcomed us making us feel like we were returning home, but on our last night there, he brought all the ingredients for Okonomiyaki and made dinner for all of us. The whole time we felt like we were old friends, and it’s a beautiful quality Kei holds. We will never forget our time at Maison d’hôtes, and we are forever grateful to Kei whom we hope to welcome soon in Germany. On this note, Kei is not a host, he’s your friend.

Cozy apartment in a rural environment, decorated in a "french witch cottage" theme (although little of the decoration is authentic) The small terrace was a nice place to chill. It's probably better to arrive by car, since it's quite far from the nearest public transport.
