The hotel is very nicely architecturally built. The tiled outdoor pool with a beautiful garden is reminiscent of the best stays in Bali. The staff is great, always willing to give advice and very, very helpful. Very good kitchen.

From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure, every aspect of this charming villa exceeded our expectations, creating an unforgettable Sri Lankan escape. Location: 10/10 Nestled in the peaceful village of Pitiwella, just a short and pleasant distance from the historic Galle Fort, Villa Serene offers the ideal balance of tranquility and accessibility. We loved being a mere 5-minute stroll from the beautiful Pitiwella Beach, allowing for spontaneous dips in the ocean and stunning sunset walks. The convenience of nearby local shops for daily needs, coupled with easy access to tuk-tuks and the main bus route, meant we could explore Galle and its surroundings effortlessly, yet return to the serene embrace of the villa. Accommodation & Comfort: 10/10 The villa itself is a true gem. Spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, it felt like a home away from home. We stayed in the one-bedroom villa, which was generous in size (around 1873 sq ft!) and boasted a fully equipped kitchen – perfect for those who enjoy preparing their own meals. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the tropical heat, and the comfortable king-sized bed ensured restful nights. We particularly adored the private balcony with its lush garden views, a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The overall ambiance was one of warmth and genuine comfort. Amenities & Facilities: 10/10 Villa Serene truly goes above and beyond with its offerings. The fast, free Wi-Fi (a speedy 122 Mbps!) was a huge plus, allowing us to stay connected effortlessly. The availability of a washing machine was incredibly convenient for longer stays. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like mosquito nets, a flat-screen TV, and quality linens.

This is a great place and apartment. It is very nice and cozy, a beautiful house, lots of wood in the interior and a wonderful open kitchen. You wake up to the sound of birds singing. Everything is modern, stylish, and there is absolutely everything necessary for life. We were also greeted by a very kind host Dinoksha and his wonderful family, they live downstairs on the ground floor and therefore are very safe in the apartment, there is Parking, they treated us to breakfast and fruit, always helped with advice, and even when our helmet was stolen on a walk, the next day they helped to buy a new one and took us to the right store. I highly recommend visiting this place to stay!!!♥️♥️♥️

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Five Residences during my visit to The Five Residences and it was an unforgettable experience. From the stunning property to the impeccable service, everything exceeded my expectations. The villa itself is beautifully designed with elegant interiors and top-of-the-line furnishings. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were spacious with incredibly comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were luxurious with high-end toiletries. The staff at the villa were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and attention. The villa manager made sure we had everything we needed and was always available to assist with any request. The housekeeping team was discreet yet thorough, ensuring the villa was always spotless. In conclusion, our stay at The Five Residences was truly magical. It offered the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and privacy. I highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a top-tier experience in Galle. I can’t wait to return for another stay!

    Very nice place surrounded by nature (10 minutes away from Galle with Tuktuk) and run by a super nice family. Great pool ! 4 villas only, spacious and decorated with style, where you feel at home. We enjoyed local tasty food : delicious curry prepared on demand for dinner and different traditional breakfasts every morning.. We do recommend if you want to discover Galle, chilling in a very zen place.

    41 Lighthouse Street is a private villa run by Fort Bazaar Hotel in Galle Fort. It's a beautifully modernised old house that has loads of character. There are 3 en suite bedrooms and a large amount of lounge and living space, and of course the private pool. A fantastic breakfast is provided daily. What makes it truly exceptional are the staff - they are friendly, attentive and very helpful. It's a wonderful place for a family holiday.
