Villas in Yala

Everything, Udara is wonderful. I recommend taking two nights. The day we arrived Udara took us to a temple with the most magnificent view of mountain and ocean at sunset. I felt that there was still a lot to explore. He arranged for us the Safari with a very professional driver and he guided us personally

Service was exceptional. The mini safari and the guided walk to the red beach and sand dune were the highlights for us.

We were warmly welcomed from the very start by the incredible team. They did everything they could to give us a memorable stay, from the delicious food (best we had in Sri Lanka and very generous portions), the impeccable service, informative safari and excellent facilities and special touches (star gazing from the impressive viewing platform). Communication was excellent and we really felt so well looked after and had such a special time at Makini Bush Camp. We were so sad to leave and would definitely come back and would recommend to anymore!

A wonderful place in the middle of nature. Access by car is difficult, but totally worth it. It was nice that a bigger Safari car was organized to meet us on the way. The manager (Gamini) is very accommodating and super friendly. We stayed Deluxe Bungalow - An incredibly specious villa. The whole area is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. The property even has its own observation tower where you can enjoy the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning. The food was delicious and wonderful. The BBQ bonfire dinner was very special and memorable. A perfect place to stay if you want to go on a Yala Safari. Safari offered by the hotel is a bit expensive, so consider different options if possible. All in all.. A nice place to stay in Sri Lanka for sure. Great house and very kind staff! We all regretted that we only booked for one night. Would have loved to spend more time at the house.

Our stay at forestville was amazing, the place is Very well maintained and quiet in tune with nature..the villa is just 20 min to yala national park .. we loved spending time star gazing in the rooftop terrace during the evenings .. highly recommend vila
