We chose this villa for our last night in Mauritius and we couldn’t be more happier about this decision. The owner was so friendly and caring, she even made us a welcome surprise which made our honeymoon trip even more special. The place is beautiful, modern, clean and has everything you might need. After vacationing for 3 1/2 weeks in Mauritius and staying at 5 different properties this one was by far our favorite. Before arriving for our stay the host reached out to give us the exact location of the property, it was easy to find, and they allowed us to park within the gate to prevent damage to our rental car from falling mangos on the street. Colette showed us to our apartment, when entering the property, the first thing we noticed was how spacious and clean it was. The apartment was well thought out and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen supplies etc. The bed was comfortable and there are separate Aircon units in the bedrooms and one in the living room. We did not pay extra for the aircon in the living room, which we did regret because it does get very warm, and we did not utilize this area as much. The location for us was prime, it's about a 20-minute walk to the top of GRSE Waterfall and a 5-minute drive to the supermarket. I definitely recommend having a rental car. We chose this location due to several activities we had planned, and it was the perfect distance from this apartment. We also really appreciated the communication from Colette, she gave us great recommendations of activities to do in the area and was open to helping us sort out a restaurant nearby. This property is great for short term or even long-term stays, we would definitely book again. Also, we really enjoyed the garden, the flowers are beautiful, you can tell how much the place is kept up.
