Especially as the lady of the house came to bring us delicious food several times. She brought us rice pourage which brought me back to my youth 🤗 The bed is super comfortable, the shower and WiFi are great. The apartment has everything and more than you can wish for as its awfully furnished house. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the road up to the center and it was easy to park the car infront of the apartment. As every location up till now has been challenging to find in Albania. For us we followed google maps and then drove up the hill until we saw a bruncht blue house on the left hand side.

We were then taken through a beautiful, flower lined entryway, up to the house, which has a great view of the mountains. Absolutely gorgeous house. We felt like we were stepping back in time. The night was chilly, but there were plenty of extra blankets to keep us warm. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The owners greeted us with such hospitality, making us feel instantly at home, even letting us pick fresh lemons and mint from a small garden. The interior of the house was beautifully designed with ethnographic elements and every detail carefully thought out. It was evident that owners had put a lot of love and care into creating a space that was both stylish and comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean, towels soft and smelling so fresh. The location was perfect - not more than 5 min to the town center on foot. Also fantastic castle view from the terrace! Perfect place for exploring the city and surroundings.

Our family had plenty of room to spread out, and our two kids loved having their own rooms. The apartment was cozy and perfect for our base in Gjirokaster. The location is also great - close to the old bazaar, ethnographic museum, and lots of stores and restaurants. This apartment is perfect for families visiting Gjirokaster and the surrounding area.
