Gemma left coffee and milk and a pound cake - a thoughtful touch. We did stop at a Tesco for dinner and breakfast items. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The cottage has some nice views as well.

The house is incredibly charming, cozy, and clean — both my husband and I loved it, and our children were equally thrilled. It’s located on a quiet street and for two days we truly felt like locals in the Scottish Hebrides - the house offers an exceptionally warm “English home” feeling while traveling. We did our classic “British grocery shop” at a nearby Tesco, which had everything we needed. Stornoway is a perfect base, with everything on the Isle of Lewis and Isle of Harris within short trip. One of our most beautiful memories from our Scottish road trip is definitely “our little house in the Hebrides.” Highly recommended to everyone!

The pod was beautifully decorated and comfortable with lots of little thoughtful items stocked for our comfort. We found the location of the pod to be very private with a fenced off garden and pond area that we enjoyed very much. Great location and would highly recommend.

The house is spotless—brand new and beautifully equipped with everything a family could possibly need, turning it into a true home away from home. Although we ran into some issues with the reservation and the ferries, the hostess was incredibly attentive and helped us tremendously, which we deeply appreciate since we were traveling with children. Thanks to her support, we were able to sort everything out and fully enjoy our time on the island. Highly recommended!

Beautifully maintained and modernised , generously appointed for cooking and cleaning, very welcoming hosts Murdo and Carol. 5000 years of history just across the road, but no tourists or noise.

Extremely well equipped, cozy. There was actually nothing we would not love there. Garden, where otter came through on its way to the sea. Elk came to say Hi. Seals nearby. And in the evening, fireplace with live fire and peaceful view over the bay. Fits well two families. Both having their own privacy, but plenty of space to share as well. All that in the heart of lovely Harris countryside. Simply one of the nicest and the most pleasant places we visited yet.
