Lili is a very nice and friendly host. The place is simple but clean and with all the needed facilities, with a shared kitchen and a place to relax with hamocks and a table in the backyard. There is a free parking place just outside the house, which was super convenient. Highly recommended!

The location was excellent, just a 20 minute walk or very short drive into the town. Nice view, beautiful sky at night. The hosts are wonderful. They provided us with local coffee and fruits for breakfast and gave us great tips for exploring the area (in areas with less tourism and crowds). It's so close to the cloud forests and other nature reserves. The coffee in town was the best coffee I've ever had in my life! Take the recommendations of the hosts! We loved staying here.

I cannot rave about the staff enough. SOOOOOO HELPFUL & FRIENDLY. We rented one of the 2-bedroom apartments. It had lots of amenities for cooking. The apartment and bedrooms are quite roomy. The shower amazingly hot. I loved the private, secured parking with your own gate remote. There is a platform balcony for everyone to share with comfy furniture and fairly decent view of Arenal Lake and the sunset at night. The breakfast is also AMAZING - you get your choice of several different hot or cold meals to choose from (pancakes, huevos rancheros, granola with fruit, omelet etc.) along with 4 or so beverage options plus fruit and a glass of juice. You can even have them bring breakfast to your room instead of eating in the dining room which we loved. Highly recommend this hotel. It was also a 5-minute drive to the center of Santa Elena - and about 15-20 minutes to all of the cloud forest reserves/hanging bridge parks. Also, very close to restaurants and amenities - maybe not walking distance per se - but easily accessible by car/taxi.

Roy makes an I creadible pizza that we really recommend you to try. The place is also super close to the adventure parks for the zip lines and the e hanging bridges. Highly recommended!

Pablo is an amazing host and Casa Rayo De Luna must be your stay in Monteverde / S. Elena. He is always ready to help and to provide suggestions. We had great moment together. He's very knowledgeable about nature and local excellence, as coffee. Casa Rayo de Luna is a gorgeous stay, both in terms of accomodation and for the surrounding area. Bedroom, bathroom and common areas are always tidy and very clean. Quality of furniture is really good and the topper onto the mattress is a plus. Breakfast is superb. From the bus station in S. Elena you can reach Casa Rayo de Luna in 20 mins walk and the location is perfect if you're looking for something peaceful, surrounded by nature and by the way close to all activities in Monteverde / S. Elena. In few minutes walk you can find a great local brewery with crafts beers, good food and other local spots.

My wife and I experienced outstanding service and welcoming from owner Randall and staff, with good suggestions for local activities. The breakfast included in the rate was exceptional, with eggs, bread, home-made granola and marmalade, a plate of assorted fruit, and coffee. The attractive dining area looked out on the forested property. The room, which was accessible by car or a short walk from the restaurant, was well equipped, clean and attractive, with a small refrigerator and a fine view of the mountains from the porch (rooms 1-5).

Location was good, close to the small centre. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and one day pancakes other days scrambled eggs. The personel is the best. Great reception from Jorge and Ro gave good tips and was very nice all dat around. Would very much recommend staying here!
