We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the beds, great parking (near Vienna!!!), the newness of everything, and the very fresh rolls at breakfast! We were just passing through and really needed a good night's sleep. We got one!

Dead city feeling with odd people and unfriendly personnel at Spar express and Billa and gas stations that no one speaks other than German. If it wasn't for business I would not have ever travelled there. Even at the main train station when you buy coffee people are oddly unfriendly and getting 50c change for the bathroom is a chore both in language and culture aspects. My air conditioner did not work, had the technician come to the room and check, he said just open the window, which is appaulingfor a 4 star hotel. That person should seek another line of work, the reception staff were very good. House keeping was average

The old town has a nice relaxed vibe to it.
The old town has a nice relaxed vibe to it. Streets and squares are full of open air cafes and restaurants. Good for a lazy stroll or relaxed drink under the umbrella. The old town is pretty much one big pedestrian zone, so lovely walks. Since we had our dog with us, we loved the fact the city park was right in the middle of everything.

Even electric kettle there was shining like a new from the inside, never seen it in other hotels. there was a kitchenette and all the utensils we needed. No real-life interaction with anyone was great (at least for me as an introvert) - we got an sms with codes/instructions how to check in ourselves a few hours before our arrival. A 10 minutes drive from sud autobahn, 2 minutes drive to grocery stores and gas stations. So a great place to stay for a night on your north/south route00ldPoland

It's not the greatest luxury, but it was enough for us. It's a good thing there's air conditioning in the rooms, because it heats up quickly. There's an elevator, phew. Quiet corner. We'll have fond memories of this place and won't hesitate to return if prices don't go up, of course.

Quite a few good dining options nearby and a very good level of shopping choices for a small city of this size. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The hotel seems to be going through a gradual upgrade, while retaining a lot of the charm of 1950s and 1960s hospitality.
