Aigues-Mortes itself is a quiet and peaceful yet lively place that does not feel heavy or theatrical like other medieval towns with intense histories. it’s a great base from which to explore the warm waters and unspoiled beaches of the region (by car or e-bike) as well as the sites and festivals of Montpellier, Nîmes, Avignon and Arles. The restaurants are simple and simply delicious and reveal themselves from inside of hidden magic patios overflowing with vividly colored vegetation and scents of jasmine, wood fired ovens and the sea.

This is a property with several rooms and small apartments in separate houses all in one area, which seems popular with families with dogs as you‘re allowed to bring pets. We enjoyed having an apartment with a big outdoor terrace. Some guests also enjoyed taking photos of birds outdoors on the nearby fields. You can pre-order a small dinner and order drinks on the day. Friendly staff.
