Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, hotel in Vancouver

Featuring an indoor pool and fitness centre, this Vancouver hotel overlooks Coal Harbour. Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre is less than 5 minutes’ walk away.

Very very bad hotel. The thermostat was not working, and i had to spend the whole night being awake. Blanket size small. Lights in room very very dim. Nobody pickup phone for service in middle of night and until 8am. There was no kettle in room for hot water, no iron in room, and so do iron stand. Everything need to be called and asked for it. Tea bags are not available as well. The place is good but the hotel is outdated. It's definitely not worth it, especially when u go business trips and u have limited time.

FAQs about hotels in Vancouver

Outstanding Capital of the Outdoors

An outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, Vancouver is sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain is a favourite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.

Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch ‘n’ putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.

Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home ground of the city’s football and American football teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.

With the largest Chinatown in North America, Gastown is the oldest part of Vancouver and is near the Canada Place cruise ship terminal.

We could go on and on about British Columbia’s largest city and never do it justice, so why not try it for yourself? Booking.com has a fabulous range of accommodation, from hotels near Vancouver Airport in Richmond to downtown B&Bs and motels near each of its ferry ports.

We spent 4 days here and visited Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge and Granville Island ( the rain came down on us ). Shopped at Robson St and lunched there. We booked a hop on - hop off for a day and visited Gastown, Chinatown, Stanley Park, Granville Island, it.s worth the price.

Easy city to get around, the Hop On Hop Off takes you to all the beautiful sites, like Canada Place where you can see all the cruise ships and then walk over to Gastown and see the steam clock. This is a beautiful city with beautiful views of the mountains and sea. There are cultural, sport and shopping facilities in the area. Stanley park is well worth a visit particularly to walk or bicycle and there are lots of cycle hire shops nearby for the purpose. China town isn't as vibrant as it was last time we visited over 20 years ago, confirmed by the bus driver who spoke about its decline. He also advised that we shouldn't walk between China town and the Steam clock destination for personal safety. Otherwise I walked alone around my hotel and felt safe. There is a good transport system around Vancouver although I generally walked locally to Stanley park, to the Waterfront and the downtown shopping area.

Granville Island is very much worth a visit before 7pm whilst the food market and small shops are still open. Coal Harbour is a lovely area and we walked to Stanley Park from there. Stanley Park is brilliant, loads to do and see. The Totem Poles are spectacular. The Vancouver Lookout is well worth a visit for views all over the city. We had breakfast all 3 morning at Yolks on Davie, fabulous place and the breakfasts are amazing. Try a local gin in Mahoneys on the waterfront. We used the buses to get around, they are on time and easy to use but can be very full. Steamworks Brewery is Gastown does great beers. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a must visit, its amazing.

Loved the hotel's location which was close to metro (two lines), restaurants, has a large salted pool and gym, and near high-end stores. You are treated very well, as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, and the beds are very comfortable. Vancouver is one of the best cities I ever visited in Canada and there are a lot of things to do inside and outside of the city. Famous celebs and dignitaries have stayed here, so why not you. If I ever get back to British Columbia, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia will be my first choice. Cheers.

'I can't say enough about how fantastic this stay was at The Listel. I had a corner room with the fluffiest bed and beautiful views of the Telus tower and Vancouver skyline. The hotel offers free filtered water on every floor and a free happy hour at 5pm. The front desk staff and valet staff are so helpful and even brought my skip the dishes to my room when I didn't feel well. Oh and the best shopping and dining is right outside your door! Our room in this non-profit hotel was small and pretty basic, but we weren't planning to stay inside during our weekend in Vancouver anyway! It was clean, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and the price is a complete bargain for the area. The location is great for accessing the arena, stadium, Gastown and all the downtown attractions. We will definitely be return visitors and would recommend the hotel for active visitors to downtown Vancouver.

This was the best location we could have asked for while visiting Vancouver for a few days. The hotel room was immaculate and very clean. Our only complaint was that a lot of water spills out of the shower door during/after showering meaning a wet bathroom floor, however housekeeping ensured we always had an adequate number of fresh towels available so it wasn’t really an issue. I appreciated the coffee machine and water bottle refills.

We loved the location. 10 minute walk into centre of Downtown Vancouver. We loved the comfortable beds. The house-keeping team were very apologetic when we pointed 0out somethings that were below expected standards of a hotel. The management team were quick in refunding us when we could not stay the full length of our trip - I really appreciated this and this is a sign of good customer service.

A cosy hotel, filled with beautiful artwork and stylish nooks, a real blend of old and new with thoughtful finishing chocolates. Best sleep I had in Vancouver out of 11 nights. The mattress was super comfortable, the sheets soft and silky and the cushions plump and fully. Once you work out your way around the neighbourhood, the distance from DownTour V doesn't seem that much of an issue.
