Uluwatu was such a relaxing and vibrant area with so many different activities. Whether you're looking forward tranquility, beaches, temples, restaurants/bars or waves for surfing - you'll find it. Such a great mix of things to do and Uluwatu will live you happy regardless of what you prefer to do on holiday. A totally different vibe from other areas of Bali and I'd definitely recommend spending some time here if you have the chance.

Uluwatu should be on your itinerary when traveling to Bali! It is a lovely place with a good vibe and perfect for surfing. We stayed at Ikigai, which is a lovely small resort. There were a lot of good restaurants and shops in the area. We were now there for 3 full days. Beautiful part of the world. Relaxed, easy to get around and great food options. Carina's Spa was fantastic as was Spring. Single Fin is a must at sunset and the food options and cocktails were amazing. I stayed at Uluwatu for 2 weeks in 2 different hotels. If I could plan my trip again, I would have moved around a bit more. I stayed at Bingin beach for 7 nights, which with hindsight was far too long, 3 days would have been enough, unless you're a surfer. Sal Secret was the second hotel and near to quite a few restaurants We visited Uluwatu Temple, watch out for the monkeys! We watched the Fire Dance at the Temple which was fantastic. Uluwatu can be quite busy. Do research on Uluwatu and places of interest before you go.AAnonymous

Our little house with plunge pool was divine. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Bali. Poached eggs with pulled pork was to die for. Staff were lovely and the resident dog, Maya was so cute. You really need to ride a scooter when staying as it's a 5 minute ride back to the road near Padang Padang beach. So many beaches close by to explore.
