Our stay was short, but very positive. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with a welcome drink and fragrant towels. The room was prepared carefully. The hotel staff gave us a better room than we booked, free of charge. On the day of departure, we could also stay longer than the check-out time. Swimming pool with a great view of the ocean. The food in the restaurant is delicious. We have no objections. See you in next year.

Ahmet and the staff accommodated our every need, they went above and beyond to fulfil each request. The location of the hotel is great, secluded but close to the beach. The bungalows and all of the facilities are comfortable, in a tropical garden which is great for chilling out. We really enjoyed the bbq night with live music. The breakfast was great.

Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Following the many day trips organised by the hotel you can be comfortable on an evening and enjoy delicious high quality food at the restaurant. The food is amazing and all freshly prepared. The staff cannot do enough for you. I had cocktails made every night specially designed for me by the bar staff. The breakfast is amazing and plentiful to set you up for the day. If you are looking for quality then this is the place to stay. You cannot explore the area on an evening due to the location as it is remote but as we had been out all day then this wasn’t an issue for us. There are not many places in Zanzibar where it is recommended to be out at night as there is no street lighting and poor roads etc. The hosts will try and accommodate your needs wherever possible. The hotel is brand new and the rooms are huge.
